In the previous post talks about word prediction, which can be included in talking word processor software. This software allows students to hear back what they are typing. This can be very useful for students who have dyslexia and other reading, writing disabilities. The students can hear their work spoken back to them. They can hear any mistakes or grammar errors that do not sound correct that they have missed while typing. This a great software for any student and correcting their own work. Elementary students sometime rush through or are still learning writing skills. When using talking word they can listen back and see what they can change. When typing sometimes you make mistakes and miss them. Therefore, this helps you listen out loud to your own mistakes.
